Neepawa Hang Gliding and the Westman Hang Gliding Association form a community of hang glider and ultralight pilots based in southwestern Manitoba. We train at Neepawa and fly for fun throughout the province.
Our members fly hang gliders, paragliders, trikes, conventional ultralights, powered parachutes and skydiving parachutes. Some hold Private and Commercial pilot licenses. Many are multi-wingual. But our main focus is hang gliding and weight-shift ultralights.
The Neepawa aerodrome began as the RAF No. 35 Elementary Flying Training School. Our new mission, beyond simply having fun, is to help resurrect a Manitoba tradition of safe and affordable recreational aviation. Find us on Google Maps and Wikipaedia.
